# Governance Security

Nebula ensures governance security through:

#### **Guardrails**

* Critical parameters, such as minimum collateralization ratios, cannot be altered without multi-signature approval or external audits.

#### **Smart Contract Safeguards**

* Governance actions are executed by auditable smart contracts, reducing the risk of human error or manipulation.

#### **Emergency Protocols**

* In case of malicious proposals or bugs, an emergency council (elected by the community) can veto or delay execution until further review.
