# Governance Risk

To ensure governance decisions do not compromise the protocol:

#### **Quorum Requirements**

Proposals must meet a minimum quorum for approval, preventing a small group from dominating decision-making.

#### **Timelocks**

Governance actions are delayed by a timelock period, allowing the community to review and challenge decisions before implementation.
