Points System

To encourage long-term, healthy TVL (Total Value Locked) growth and attract active participants to the Nebula ecosystem, we have designed an innovative Points System. This system incentivizes both user engagement and meaningful contribution to the protocol.

Design Logic

The Points System is created with two primary objectives:

  1. Incentivize Long-Term TVL Growth: By rewarding users for contributing to the protocol's liquidity and transactions, we aim to promote sustainable and organic growth within the Nebula ecosystem.

  2. Attract and Retain Users: Through engaging campaigns, the Points System helps drive awareness and encourage users to stay actively involved in Nebula, both during and after its launch.

Components of the Points System

The Points System consists of two key components, each designed to target different aspects of user activity:

1. Galxe Campaign

Users can earn points by completing specific tasks through the Galxe platform. These tasks are designed to increase awareness and community engagement. Sample tasks include:

  • Following Nebula’s official Twitter account.

  • Retweeting specific posts related to project updates.

  • Joining the Nebula community on platforms like Discord or Telegram.

  • Participating in Nebula-related discussions and AMAs.

Each task completed through the Galxe campaign will award users a set number of points, which are automatically reflected in their dashboard. User who cleared all Galxe tasks is then eligible for applying Nebula Ambassador Program.

2. Transaction and TVL-Based Points

In addition to tasks, users can accumulate points based on their activity within the Nebula protocol. These points are dynamically related to:

  • Transaction Volume: The more a user interacts with the protocol—such as lending, borrowing, or providing liquidity—the more points they will accumulate.

  • Total Value Locked (TVL) Contribution: Users who contribute to Nebula's TVL by depositing assets will also earn points. The higher their contribution, the more points they will receive, promoting long-term, sustained TVL growth.

Points Dashboard

A Points Dashboard will be available to users to track their progress. The system snapshot at random intervals rather than in real-time, creating an element of unpredictability and encouraging consistent engagement. Users will need to engage with nebula closely, as the snapshot times for updates are not predetermined.

Points Redemption and Airdrop

After the Token Generation Event (TGE), the points users have accumulated will be redeemable for an airdrop of $NEB tokens. The number of $NEB tokens a user receives will be proportional to their points balance at the time of redemption, providing a tangible reward for long-term participation and contribution to the protocol’s success.
